Kona’s ocean has always been one of the biggest reasons I keep returning. Over the years, I have explored beaches shaped by black lava, snorkeled in clear tropical water, discovered colorful marine life beneath the surface, and experienced the unforgettable sight of manta rays gliding through the ocean after dark. Each shoreline and underwater adventure offered something different—from peaceful places to relax to thrilling encounters beneath the waves.
